Your Privacy Hero 2 device comes with a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring peace of mind and reliable performance.

Warranty Coverage:

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If your device experiences a covered issue within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

Warranty Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the Privacy Hero 2 with our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the features or no longer wish to use the device, you may return it within 30 days for a refund, subject to the terms below.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Create an Account: If you ordered as a guest, please create an account first.
  2. Access Your Account: Log in and navigate to your account section.
  3. Start the RMA Process: Locate your order and click the Refund button to initiate a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Terms and Conditions:

  • Refunds: A refund will be issued once the returned device is received and inspected.
  • Restocking Fee: A $25 restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • NordVPN Subscription: If you claimed the included 1-year NordVPN account, it will also be cancelled upon return.

Special Exceptions:

In cases where the device is incompatible with your setup or does not function as expected, our team may waive the restocking fee after reviewing your situation.

Refund Eligibility

Monthly Plans

  • Privacy Premium and Privacy Plus monthly plans are eligible for a full refund if canceled within the first 7 days of subscription.
  • No refunds are available after the 7-day period.

Yearly Plans

  • Privacy Premium and Privacy Plus yearly plans are eligible for a full refund if canceled within the first 7 days of subscription.
  • No refunds are available after 30 days of subscription.

Cancellations After Refund Period

  • Monthly Plans: If you cancel after the 7-day refund period, the cancellation will prevent automatic renewal, and you will retain access to the service until the end of your billing cycle.
  • Yearly Plans: If you cancel after the 30-day refund period, the cancellation will prevent automatic renewal, and you will retain access to the service until the end of your billing cycle.

Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrading from Privacy Plus to Privacy Premium

  • Upgrades take effect immediately, granting instant access to the Premium features.

Downgrading from Privacy Premium to Privacy Plus

  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current Privacy Premium subscription.
  • The next renewal will reflect the Privacy Plus rate.

Plan Changes and Credits

  • If you switch to a lower-priced plan, your refund will be issued as a credit toward the next renewal of your active subscription.
  • Store credit totals can be viewed in your Privacy Hero Admin Panel Account area.
